During the planning session, your leadership team will establish the groundwork of consensus of what’s important to your organization, what’s the primary purpose and overall direction of the company over the next three to five years. Continuing with this process, you will set specific objectives to achieve within the 12-month planning period, creatively explore possible action steps, and develop realistic, focused action plans. With this process, you will establish the criteria to measure the results of your efforts, set up specific follow-up plans, and evaluate the progress throughout the year.

The planning process provides a framework in which your leadership team can systematically develop a “big picture” and a meaningful plan of action.

The strategic planning program includes:
        • Preplanning session discussions(s)
        • Required preparation
        • Leadership Team Planning Session (typically 1-1½ days)
        • Preparation of written business plan
        • Any required followup

As an option, consider having me come in to do quarterly reviews and assessment of progress (half-day sessions)
